I dressed up as Princess Peach from Mario Brothers for Halloween and bought this wig for my costume. I was really skeptical because I've bought cheap costume wigs in the past and they've been really awful quality and never look anything like the picture on the package. I was very pleased when this arrived in the mail, I'll admit that it doesn't look as fantastic as it does on the model but that's not surprising at all. I will say though that right out of the package it took very little to make it look nice and even though it does have that fake hair shine to it, it looks surprisingly natural. I highly recommend this wig, it's good quality, has nice coloring, and is much nicer than the usual out-of-the-bag costume wigs you find.

This is a very good wig, especially for the price. I was a little disappoiinted that it doesn't have the dimension of color as shown in the picture. It's a flat blonde, but does reflect well and gives lots of dimension and shine when photographed. It was perfect for my Princess Peach Toadstool costume, so I was very pleased overall.

I also dressed up as Princess Peach, used this wig, and was incredibly impressed by how it looked. I have lots of dark hair to cover, and with a pantyhose-type wig cap I couldn't see my roots or anything, and it stayed put all night long... the fake-hair barbie doll glow was a little unnatural, but, since it was Halloween AND I was dressing as a fictional character anyway, I didn't mind a bit! Highly recommend for costumes and fun -- not very realistic, if that's what you're going for.
